Delete Your Account#

Open Settings → Account to request account deletion. Review the affected personal repositories, memberships, tokens, keys, subscriptions, and compute credit before confirming the request.

If you own an organization, transfer administration or promote another administrator first. Export any data you need to retain, revoke third-party application access, and stop automation that uses your credentials.

Account deletion is a security-sensitive browser workflow. Do not attempt it through a shared script or by giving another person your credentials.
