Agreement and scope#
These Terms are an agreement between you and MEGA. In these Terms, "MEGA," "we," and "us" mean the MEGA service and the team responsible for operating it. These Terms apply when you access MEGA, create an account, publish a repository, purchase a paid service, or otherwise use the service. They incorporate the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, and Content Policy where those documents apply. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and authority#
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or parental or guardian consent, you may use MEGA only after meeting that requirement. If you use MEGA for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization, and references to "you" include that organization.
Global availability and legal compliance#
MEGA is offered globally to individual users, companies, and other organizations. Availability in a country or region does not mean that every service, model, dataset, integration, or use is lawful or appropriate there. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including applicable export-control, sanctions, consumer-protection, privacy, and content rules.
MEGA may restrict a service or transaction where reasonably necessary to comply with law, provider requirements, security controls, or sanctions. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer or statutory rights that apply in your country or region.
Accounts and access#
Provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for the sign-in methods, access tokens, SSH keys, GPG keys, OAuth applications, service accounts, and activity associated with your account or organization.
Keep credentials confidential, grant only the access needed, and promptly revoke or replace credentials when you believe they may have been exposed. Notify MEGA through the Contact control in the site footer if you suspect unauthorized access.
Repositories, content, and licenses#
You keep the rights you hold in content you publish. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the permissions and lawful basis needed to upload, process, share, and license that content, including personal data and third-party material.
You grant MEGA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, display, cache, index, and technically modify your content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service according to your selected visibility and feature settings. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for public copies made by others, legal retention, and limited backup or cache copies.
Public repositories, profiles, discussions, and other content marked public can be viewed, indexed, copied, or used by others. A separate repository license controls use of the applicable content. MEGA does not take ownership of repository content merely because it is published through the service.
Acceptable use#
Do not use MEGA to violate applicable law, infringe another party's rights, distribute malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, evade technical controls, or publish content you do not have the right to make available. The Content Policy and Code of Conduct provide additional publishing and community rules.
Third-party services and integrations#
Some features connect to third-party services, including identity, payment, analytics, storage, compute, inference, DOI, or application providers. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply when you choose those features. MEGA is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, but this does not limit duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are responsible for reviewing a provider's terms before sending content to a user-selected integration and for configuring that integration consistently with your legal and security obligations.
TensorPlayChat and AI-assisted features#
TensorPlayChat lets you submit prompts and attachments, receive model-generated content, save conversations and favorites, use optional search or connected tools, and create links that share selected conversation content. You are responsible for the content you submit, the instructions you give, and how you use or share the resulting output.
Conversations are private to the signed-in account unless you choose to share them. Anyone who receives an active public share link may view, copy, or redistribute the content made available through that link. Review the selected content before sharing it, and revoke a link when it should no longer be accessible. Revocation cannot recall copies already made by another person.
Model outputs, search results, and tool results can be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. They are not a substitute for qualified professional judgment. Do not rely on TensorPlayChat as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions, and independently verify important information.
When you enable search, an MCP server, or another connected tool, information reasonably needed to perform your request may be sent to that service. Review the connection and its permissions before use, do not send credentials or confidential information unless appropriate, and supervise tools that can perform external actions. Model and tool use may consume paid or included usage as shown by the service.
Service changes and availability#
MEGA is an evolving service. Features, limits, prices, and availability may change as the platform is maintained, secured, and improved. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for operations, security, legal compliance, provider changes, or the integrity of the community.
Scheduled or emergency maintenance, internet conditions, third-party providers, and events beyond reasonable control can affect availability. Any specific service-level commitment applies only when it is stated in a separate signed order form or enterprise agreement.
Paid services, cancellation, and refunds#
Prices, billing intervals, included usage, and applicable taxes for paid plans or prepaid usage are shown before Waffo Pancake checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically using the payment method on file unless you cancel before the next renewal date. You can cancel through MEGA Billing or the Waffo Pancake customer portal; cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund eligibility
- Because paid digital services and usage are made available immediately, charges are generally non-refundable once a paid entitlement or prepaid usage has been used.
- Subject to applicable law and Waffo Pancake's enforced refund rules, an unused one-time prepaid usage purchase may be submitted for a full or partial refund within 7 calendar days of payment.
- A duplicate or incorrect charge should be reported within 30 calendar days.
- For a verified outage within MEGA's control that prevents use of the paid service for more than 72 consecutive hours, we may provide an appropriate service credit or other remedy.
- Consumed usage, partially used billing periods, plan downgrades, and accounts suspended or terminated for violating these Terms are not refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- Plan gifts are non-refundable and cannot be submitted through the MEGA refund-ticket flow, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subscriptions use cancellation rather than the one-time-product refund-ticket process. Cancelling a subscription does not itself refund an earlier charge. Statutory refund and cancellation rights remain unaffected.
How to request a refund
- Open MEGA Billing, select the payment under Invoices, and submit the refund reason and requested amount.
- Waffo creates a trackable refund ticket for merchant review. We normally review a complete request within 5 business days.
- If approved, Waffo initiates the refund to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time.
The Contact button in the site footer can be used for support, but a booking alone does not start a refund request. Waffo's handling of payment data is described in its Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers#
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEGA and all content, software, features, and services made available through it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that MEGA will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components; that defects will be corrected; or that content, model outputs, search results, metrics, availability, or other results will be accurate, complete, current, or preserved. You are responsible for evaluating and verifying outputs and for maintaining appropriate copies of content that matters to you.
Limitation of liability#
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEGA and its operators, affiliates, personnel, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to the service or these Terms, even if advised that such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of MEGA and its operators, affiliates, personnel, and suppliers for all claims arising from or related to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to MEGA for the service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability or US$100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Suspension, termination, and data#
You may stop using MEGA at any time and may cancel paid services as described above. Before deleting content or closing access, export or retain any copy you need. Deletion, portability, and retention are also governed by the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum.
We may limit access, remove content, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the community; respond to legal process; prevent fraud or security harm; address non-payment; or enforce these Terms. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, continue to apply.
Privacy and data processing#
The Privacy Policy explains how MEGA handles account and service information. If MEGA processes personal data on behalf of an organization as a processor, the Data Processing Addendum applies to that processing.
Contact and disputes#
Questions, legal notices, billing issues, and disputes may be submitted through the Contact control in the site footer. Include the account or organization involved and enough detail for MEGA to investigate, but do not send passwords, private keys, access tokens, or full payment-card details.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and MEGA agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute through this contact process where applicable law permits. These Terms do not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using mandatory consumer, regulatory, or court remedies available under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms#
We may update these Terms as MEGA, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or account contact information when practicable. Continuing to use MEGA after an updated version takes effect means that you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
